Hello I'm Ada Rosabal
I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Florida and Puerto Rico, with over 25 years of experience in psychotherapy, family therapy, hypnotherapy, and coaching. My mission is to help individuals reconnect with their emotional, spiritual, and relational well-being through an integrative, evidence-based, and compassionate approach.

I currently serve as the Clinical Director of Gaviota Professional Institute, where I combine my clinical practice with training new professionals, facilitating workshops, and developing educational programs. Throughout my career, I have supported individuals, couples, families, and communities across Puerto Rico and Florida, integrating Ericksonian hypnotherapy, systemic models, and coaching strategies.
My Story
I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Carlos Albizu University and have received advanced training in Family Therapy with Salvador Minuchin, Cognitive and Rational Emotive Therapy with Albert Ellis, Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, Life & Spiritual Coaching, Advanced Hypnotherapy, and Couples Therapy with Ellyn Bader. I am also a certified Mentor Coach with the International Coaching Federation.

Over the years, I have led numerous workshops, certifications, and programs for both professionals and the general public, focusing on grief counseling, crisis intervention, couples communication, suicide prevention, and emotional well-being. I have also collaborated with corporations and educational institutions on topics such as emotional intelligence, leadership, change management, and burnout prevention for teachers.
My commitment to service extends beyond the therapy room. I am a co-founder of Compassionate Friends Puerto Rico, where I support grieving parents and participate in prevention and wellness initiatives in schools and communities. Since 2002, I have also maintained an active presence in the media as a panelist and guest speaker, including a weekly segment on couples’ relationships on Telemundo.
